DC Drops First Footage from New Wonder Woman Film
Earlier this week, the CW aired a special entitled “DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League”, which gave us our very first look at Wonder Woman.
The footage in the special didn’t have very much dialogue from actress Gal Gadot (which I can excuse for now since there’s still a year and a half until the film comes out), but what we saw looked pretty amazing. With what looks like Diana training on Themyscira, fighting what appear to be World War I soldiers, disguised in 1910s garb, and riding a horse. It’s not much, but it’s still exciting.
We love this so far and love the awesome reminder that Wonder Woman is basically the best fighter in the DC universe and she will probably (most definitely) be teaching Batman and Superman a thing or two in Batman v Superman (March 25, 2016). Here’s to hoping the film is actually as good as it looks.
Now this is the hero we have been looking for. Finally, a female superhero with a stand-alone film!
This movie is set to come out June 23, 2017.
