Take It All Off...with February Face Off
Hey all!
For the past five years, I have been the sponsor for the Girls Club at Franklin High School. You know, that club where you all assume we get together and paint our nails and figure out how to get Hottie-McHottie's attention and drive all the boys and men across El Paso crazy!
Actually, the Girls Club at Franklin is alot deeper than that, in which we fundraise for local women's shelter, promote body positivity, and initiate discussions about rape culture. Pretty fabulous.
Both parties (Mystique Magazine & FHS Girls Club) have joined forces and are challenging you all to take the February Face Off Challenge.
February Face Off (created by my amazing student from four years ago: Raelynn Morales) challenges the girls of Franklin High School to not wear make-up for the entire month. They rack up points, they bring in donations, they discover their natural beauty, and BAM! They take a stance. They build confidence. They learn something.
So what's our challenge to our fabulous readers? We challenge you all to participate in February Face Off. We'll call this Mystique's First Annual February Face Off Challenge 2016! That's a nice ring, que no?
Here's how you can participate:
1. Post a selfie on one of the following social medias:
Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.
No photshop. No filters. No make-up. Just all you in all your fabulous glory!
Boys are you up for the challenge:
1. Post a selfie on one of the following social medias with you wearing makeup!: Facebook, Instagra, or Twitter.
Boys & Girls Continue:
2. Caption it with something positive about yourself.
Maybe it's your long flowing locks. Maybe it's your short edgy pixie cut. Maybe it's your bold and flavorful personality. Maybe it's even your lack of personality and more of your wallflower-ness. I don't know. The point is to start loving yourself!
3. Hashtag it with #FebruaryFaceOff2016
4. Tag us!
Make sure you tag us on facebook, Instagram, or Twitter. If you don't follow us yet or if you haven't liked us yet, be sure you get on that so we can count your entry!
5. Rack up your entries!
You're limited to one selfie a day, but for every social media you post it to, you get one entry. That's three entries in total you can get for your selfie.
6. Challenge your friends!
For every friend you get to accept the challenge, make sure they tag you as well as do the above. You get a friend to do it, you get an extra entry. Invite 10 friends, get 10 extra entries! They can only tag you once though.
What are the prizes:
Names will be drawn on March 1. If your name is drawn win a $50 Ulta Gift Card and a 3-month subscription to BirchBox!
